India's smartphone market is booming and has now attention of all major companies around the world. India is the only country in World that has shown the highest potential to become a successful digital economy. Few days back while reading another article about the same thing, I thought to present my own view on the same. Being an engineer I always liked the point system. 1. One billion people in India do not even own a smartphone. 2. 600 million mobile phone usser and 350 million of them have smartphone, according to counterpoint research. 3. 66% of mobile ussers are still don't have internet access. But, that wont be an issue for a long term because of the present price war going on in country between telecos. India has cheapest data rates in the world. 4.
